The liquid which comes in small plastic containers, like the one Speedo made, can be quite expensive. I used quite a lot of those. Their packaging NEVER mention composition of the liquid. It is suspicious when you consider most other spray one can buy from supermarkets have descriptive content composition. I thought about it just one day and decided to find it out on that topic.
Quite a lot people suggest saliva as an alternative. I was told about it since my early age in swimming. Personally I don’t like the idea of spitting in public. Some of my swim mates do this often. Just I cannot accept this. So I keep on searching.
You know what I found out. The anti-fog liguid is basically just unscented natural soap!
I don’t have a scientific laboratory to testify it. But I just applied liquid soap on my goggles over a few swimming session. It works just the same as the anti-fog liquid!! That Speedo liquid costed me 2 McDonald’s meals every month. I am so glad to have that kind of curiousity and save myself a couple of hamburger meals every month =)
Some people suggest shampoo will work as well. You bet I will try it out soon!
